We were so happy with our bedroom/ bathroom remodel with Drew Imel last year that we decided to do a second larger remodel this year. Drew is honest, serious, and hard working but most importantly, he does a wonderful job of coordinating and is always on top of things. If you’re not in the construction business, sometimes it hard to properly describe things. Drew has a real gift for understanding what you want and translating that into reality on the project. We probably won’t do a third remodel any time soon but if we did, we would use Drew again and again!

I purchased acreage in Kerr County 50 years ago with a dream of living on it someday. I knew the Texas Hill Country was where I wanted to retire.

I met Drew Imel in 2020 as he was recommended by multiple sources as the premier custom home builder. He is an excellent communicator and took me through the process of clearing the land and home design. He understood my vision and turned my dream into reality. That's why I call him the "Dream Weaver". Fast forward, I have an outstanding home, on time and under my budget. The total experience exceeded my expectations. My biggest disappointment is the house is finished. No worries, to keep things going we added a guest cottage. My plan is to keep finding ranch projects that will continue until Drew's retirement.

Drew built a lodge and sleeping quarters at my ranch in 2019. I had envisioned a lodge with a western façade and Drew did a great job of making that happen. He completed each phase of the project on time, and I was impressed with the attention to detail and workmanship. I highly recommend Imel construction for their quality of work and Drew’s integrity to build what we discussed. It is a great company.

We love our Imel Construction custom home! We were initially concerned about the cost and quality of supplies after the Covid crisis's effects on production, but Drew did not cut corners. He used high quality lumber and often came in below the bid. Drew has a good working relationship and rapport with all of the vendors and contractors he uses, which made it so much easier for us to work with them. Anytime an issue arose or if we wanted to make a change Drew addressed the issue promptly and professionally. He didn't disappear after we closed and still makes himself available to us. We have a beautiful home that is well built and everyone who sees it admires the craftsmanship.
